The Fitness Physio

Yasmin Palfrey is a Chartered Physiotherapist who specialises in injury recovery and rehabilitation. She has a wealth of experience helping people from all walks of life recover from injury, pain and return to full function.

Yasmin graduated university with a first class degree and started her career in the National Health Service and private practice. Whist in the NHS she led a specialist team of physiotherapists at a top London trauma hospital, helping those with MSK/Sports injuries, Fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Yasmin currently works at the renowned Complete Physio in London at the Chelsea and City clinics. Here, Yasmin specialises in treating lower limb injuries and helping high level or recreational athletes return to sport.

Whilst working in the NHS and private clinics, Yasmin saw a pattern of patients experiencing recurrent injuries, struggling to play the sport or live the life they want due to aches and pains and health issues. Being an expert in the human body and musculoskeletal system, yasmin saw a gap in the system of how our usual care is delivered. She found that treating patients with a holistic approach to their injury recovery and health goals gained much greater and faster results. Yasmin has developed a specialist, individualised programme called The Fitness Physio Method a programme designed to bulletproof your body, minimise your injury risk and meet your goals of weight loss or gain, using the her 4 pillars of physical health (strength, stability, mobility and cardiovascular fitness). This is combined with a nutritional programme and recipes to meet your energy needs and weekly check in’s to hold you accountable to help with mindset and motivation..

Yasmin also offers online physiotherapy assessment for those with injury that cannot make it to the clinic and health coaching sessions.

Yasmin is dedicated to continuing her professional development and is completing a masters in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice at Brunel University and further education in nutrition.

Yasmin believes that your body is your most priceless possession and harnesses a holistic approach that takes into account the physical, mental and emotional health of the individual.
